Toyota S-FR Racing Concept headed to 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon

The Toyota S-FR isn’t even in showrooms yet, and Toyota’s racing arm, Gazoo, has already come up with a hotter, wilder race going version.

The Toyota S-FR Racing Concept will be displayed at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon that takes place from January 15. The Racing Concept spices up the round, friendly lines of the S-FR with a vented hood, and large carbon fiber front and rear spoilers, and carbon fiber sill extensions.

There’s also wider fenders that increase width by 40mm (1.6 inches). Under them there’s 16-inch alloys with Bridgestone Potenza tires. There’s also modified suspension that drops the car 50mm (2 inches closer to the ground).
