Buick Envision SUV will be imported to USA from China

The new Buick Envision will straddle the large gap between the small Encore and large Enclave, and will be the first mass market car imported from China to the USA.

The US bound Envision will be available with a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 252hp (186kW) and 262 lb-ft (353Nm), HiPer strut front suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels, and all-wheel drive.

Mileage is improved by automatic engine stop/start and automatic grille shutters. An aluminum hood and high strength steel help to lighten the engine’s load.

The Envision seats five, with the second row available with sliding seats, 60/40 split-fold and fold flat function.

Other available items include LED taillights, LED driving lights, an 8-inch touchscreen, OnStar, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hot spot, active noise cancelation, hands-free power tailgate, tri-zone climate control, heated and cooled seats, push button start, and remote access.

The Envision goes on sale in 2016 in the USA. Since the car’s release in China, 127,085 have sold so far in 2015.
