2021 Skoda Fabia: Hatch finally moves onto MQB-A0 platform

The Skoda Fabia was the last of the Volkswagen Group’s superminis to remain on the PQ26 platform, but now it’s finally on MQB-A0.

The Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Polo have been using the MQB-A0 platform for years, and have just been given their midlife facelifts. So the new Fabia is a little overdue.

Like the Ibiza and Polo, the Fabia is bigger for more passenger space. The styling is evolutionary, and there’s now more safety and infotainment technology.

Engines include a 1L MPI (non-turbo) and 1L turbo I3 engines, and a 1.5L turbo I4.
