Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition: More power, more sads

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will ride off into the sunset with a limited run Final Edition model with goodness, and plenty of tears.

What is the Subaru WRX without its natural rival? Indeed what is Mitsubishi without the Evolution? These are questions we can ponder, but it isn’t over just yet.

There’s the Final Edition Evolution coming and 1,600 will be made from the US. Based on the Evolution GSR, the Final Edition is priced at US$37,995.

Standard is a more powerful 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gas engine with 303hp and 305 lb-ft. Super AWD is there too, as is a 5-speed manual, Brembo two-piece brake rotors, Bilstein shocks, and Eibach springs.

There’s black aluminum roof, Final Edition badging, dark chrome Enkei alloy wheels, gloss back grille, hood scoop and rear diffuser.
