Faraday Future FF 91: 1,050hp EV has 64k pre-orders, may never be built

The Faraday Future FF91 has an insane amount power (1,050hp or 783kW), is crazy huge, and is rumored to cost over US$100,000, and may never be built.

That’s because the company is going through very rough times with executives and senior managers leaving, and work stopping at its factory site in Las Vegas.

As Jalopnik points out, there are two classes of reservations: a free standard reservation, and a priority US$5,000 version. Faraday Future isn’t saying how many people have paid.

With 783kW (1,050hp) and rear wheel torque vectoring, the FF 91 has a 0 to 60mph time of 2.39 seconds, and an EPA range of 608km (378mi) or an NEDC range of over 700km (435mi).

The FF 91 is also self-driving capable with a pop up Lidar sensor in the hood, 13 long and short range radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 10 high definition cameras.
