The F13/F12/F06 BMW M6 coupe, convertible and four-door have been revised and given a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it facelift.
All three versions of the M feature the same turbocharged 4.4-litre V8. Equipped with a twin scroll turbo, the V8 pumps out 412kW (560hp) and 680Nm of torque.
With the standard 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, that’s good enough to complete the 0-100km/h dash in 4.2 seconds in both the coupe and Gran Coupe, and in 4.3 seconds in the convertible. The electronically limited top speed for all models is 250km/h or 305km/h with the M Drivers Package installed.
Standard equipment includes LED headlights, 19-inch alloys (20-inch on the four-door), active rear diff, carbon fibre roof (coupe and Gran Coupe only), body kit, M grille, full Merino leather interior and so many M logos you’d have a hard time forgetting where you are.
Options include carbon ceramic brakes, and enough paint and customisation options to make your mind melt.
A Competition Package raises the engine’s output to 423kW (575hp) and 680Nm (501 lb-ft). Such equipped M6s can race from 0 to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds (4.2 seconds in the convertible).
