At Audi’s 2019 general meeting, Bram Schot, its CEO, confirmed the TT will be axed and replaced “new emotive model in the same price range”.
The TT’s successor will be electric, and will probably be based on the MEB electric car platform being developed by Volkswagen, which will debut under the ID.3 hatch.
Schot said Audi will “concentrate maximum resources on our key projects” and trim its model range.
We don’t know when the TT successor will arrive on the market.
