And, again it’s based on the X5. This time the latest, much improved model based on the CLAR architecture.

At launch there will be four drivetrain options:

    xDrive 40i: 3L twin turbo I6 with 250kW (340hp) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft)
    M50i xDrive: 4.4L turbo V8 with 390kW (530hp) and 750Nm (553 lb-ft)
    xDrive 30d: 3L turbo I6 diesel with 195kW (265hp) and 620Nm (457 lb-ft)
    M50d xDrive: 3L quad turbo I6 diesel with 294kW (400hp) and 760Nm (561 lb-ft)

An 8-speed auto is standard. Other standard features include cruise control, Dynamic Damper Control, wide L shape LED taillamps, ambient lighting, and sports seats.

The X6 is available with 19″ to 22″ wheels, an illuminated kidney grille, adaptive self leveling front and rear suspension, 20 speaker 1500W Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and Traffic Jam assist (outside of Europe).
