2019 Toyota GranAce: HiAce van turned into luxury minivan

Toyota has taken its latest HiAce van and converted it into a large luxury minivan, the new GranAce, for domestic market.

The GranAce is available with either 6 seats (2-2-2) with captain’s chairs in each position, or with 8 seats (2-2-2-2) with a bench row at the back.

Safety features include autonomous emergency braking with cyclist detection and parking sensors. There’s also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, LED headlamps and interior lighting, and plenty of leather and wood trim.

The GranAce has 2.8L turbo diesel, FWD, and a 6-speed auto as standard. Being a proper van, the GranAce has a ring
frame and a trailing link rigid axle rear suspension.
