2019 McLaren 720S GT3 is a loud orange thing we like

Although based on the McLaren 720S road car, the GT3 racer is 90% new, and has revised suspension, engine, body, tranmission, and aero.

Although it looks like the road car, the McLaren 720S GT3 has an all new composite and carbonfiber body, unique splitter, dive planes, floor assembly, and a GT3 spec rear wing.

It is powered by a race prepped McLaren M840T 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a 6-speed sequential transmission and electronic shift actuator. There’s also ABS, a Salisbury-type limited slip differential, and a cockpit adjustable traction control.

Other changes include 4-way adjustable dampers and coil over springs, fast change wheel hubs, built in airjacking system, standard left hand drive, FIA compliant interior, an adjustable pedal box, carbon-Kevlar race seat, rear view camera and radar, and adjustable steering.

The McLaren 720S GT3 is priced from £440,000 (US$572,000) ex works, and the first cars will be available for GT3 racing in 2019.
