The new 7-seat LWB Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. In North America and China it will be known simply as the Tiguan.
That’s because in North America and China, the LWB 7-seat Tiguan will be the only second generation Tiguan model on sale. In other parts of the world, where the 5-seat SWB second generation Tiguan is also sold, the LWB model will be known as the Tiguan Allspace.
The LWB Tiguan Allspace will have a wheelbase that’s 11cm (4.3 inches) longer than the regular Tiguan, and will have up to seven seats.
