The Tesla Model 3 standard model has a starting price of US$35,000 before destination and tax incentives. It has a 220mi (354km) range, 0-60mph time of 5.6s, and a top speed of 130mph (209km/h).

The Model 3 Long Range edition has a starting price of US$44,000 before destination and tax incentives. It has 310mi (490km) range, 0-60mph time of 5.1s, and a top speed of 140mph (225km/h).

Both have a standard 15-inch touchscreen on the dashboard, which also has instrumentation readouts in the top left corner, and almost no interior buttons.

Options include 19-inch wheels, powered and heated seats, tinted glass roof, LED lighting, and Autopilot. A fully loaded Model 3 is US$59,500 before incentives.

Production has begun, and it will ramp up “exponentially” to around 10,000 cars per month by December 2017. Orders placed now won’t arrive until late 2018.
