Toyota extends hybrid battery warranty to 10 years/150,000mi in the US

Toyota USA has increased the warranty for the battery of its hybrid vehicles for the 2020 model year, but the rest of the powertrain warranty is unchanged.

For 2020 models, the hybrid battery warranty is now 10 years (from first use) or 150,000 miles (241,000km), whichever comes first. It was previously 8 years and 100,000 miles (160,000km).

The other hybrid powertrain components (battery control module), inverter with convert, etc. sticks with the 8 year/100,000mi warranty.

Toyota currently has 7 hybrid models on sale in the US: Prius, Prius Prime plug-in hybrid, Camry Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Avalon Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid, and the Mirai hydrogen fuel cell.

It will add the RAV4 PHEV to the range for the 2021 model year.
