Toyota C-HR concept: green light given for sub-RAV4 SUV

There will be a sub-RAV4 SUV in the Toyota range in the near future, but it won’t look exactly like the Toyota C-HR concept which debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

Instead the new car, and future Toyota vehicles, will have elements drawn from this C-HR concept. Designed at Toyota’s ED2 (European Design Development) centre, the C-HR has been designed with Europe in mind and features “an expressive new, diamond architecture styling theme” that adds to the Under Priority and Keen Look design that now features on the facelifted Yaris and new generation Aygo.

According to Toyota, the C-HR is built on a brand new platform that will be used in future small and Euro-focussed Toyotas.
