Mark III Ford Focus sedan facelift: Aston Martin grille standard, 1-litre 3-cyl optional

Ford has unveiled the facelifted version of its third generation Focus sedan ahead of its public debut at next week’s New York Auto Show.

The updated Focus sedan features the same slim headlight and Aston Martin-esque grille treatment that’s been recently applied to both the Focus hatch and wagon. At the rear the revised Focus sedan gains slimmer looking tail-lights.

All updated Focus variants sport an revised interior with fewer and better laid out buttons for the entertainment, navigation and phone systems. In the US, the new Focus will be available either a 4.2-inch screen or 8-inch touchscreen. Other tech available includes blind spot monitoring and AppLink for smartphone app compatibility.

Under the hood buyers will be able to opt for a 1-litre turbocharged (sorry, EcoBoost) 3-cylinder engine. In the Fiesta, the tiny engine generates either 72kW (97hp) or 92kW (123hp) of power.
