Quality and supply problems at LG Chem’s Poland battery factory is causing headaches for the Jaguar I-Pace, Audi E-Tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC.
According to The Times, Jaguar will pause production the I-Pace electric SUV from Monday, February 17 because of supply problems due to quality issues from LG Chem’s battery factory in Wroclaw, Poland.
The same LG Chem factory is the source of batteries for the Audi E-Tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC. According to Manager Magazin, Audi and Mercedes-Benz are scaling back production of both models due to the same supply problems.
