Honda Project 2&4 concept has a RC213V MotoGP engine

The Honda Project 2&4 takes the Ariel Atom recipe to the zenith, and is said to provide “the freedom of a motorcycle and the manoeuvrability of a car.”

The 999cc V4 RC213V engine is used in the MotoGP and in the Project 2&4 it is mid-mounted has been tuned for road use. The modified RC213V engine has a maximum output of 212hp / 158kW at 13,000rpm. Yes, 13,000rpm!

Peak torque is listed at 87 lb-ft / 118Nm at 10,500rpm. Power goes to the ground via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine is redlined at 14,000rpm.

With seating for one and a weight of just 405kg (893lb), the Project 2&4 should be mind-bendingly fast. No word yet on how fast though.
