Tesla giveth, Tesla taketh away, and Tesla giveth again. The automaker is again offering free unlimited supercharging to buyers of the Model S and Model X.
On August 3, 2019, Tesla announced on Twitter all new orders for the two large electric cars would again come with free unlimited charging at the company’s public Supercharger points.
Sales of the Model S and Model X have fallen sharply as the company has focused on selling its more affordable Model 3.
The Model S and Model X remain in production, though, and thanks to their higher price points are more profitable than the more modern Model 3.
