V12 engines are dying, but the Ferrari 812 Competizione ensures they are going down kicking and screaming (wonderfully).
There’s a lovely new aero package, including a full width hood blade, a 4WS system with independent rear wheel steering, and vortex inducing aluminum rear screen in the coupe, but the star is the 6.5L V12.
It has less torque than the 812 Superfast’s V12, but more power and a 500rpm high redline.
The 6.5L V12 has 610kW (818hp) and 692Nm (510 lb-ft), and there’s a faster shifting 7-speed DCT for a 0-100km/h time of 2.85s, and a top speed of 340km/h (211mph).
The Compeitizione coupe and Competizione A are limited edition models.
