Alfa Romeo will sell only EVs from 2027 when Giulia, Stelvio die

Alfa Romeo is the latest brand to announce it will be going electric only, with the marque to ditch internal combustion engines by 2027.

The announcement was made at Stellantis press conference detailing the automaker’s upcoming EV and PHEV launches.

Alfa Romeo will launch new crossover next year, the Tonale, which is based on the Jeep Compass platform. It will be available with plug-in hybrid powertrain.

We don’t know what the company will launch after the Tonale, but it has previously said it will use the STLA Large platform that supports EVs and PHEVs.
