Don’t let the C40 name fool you, this is a crossover with a swoopy roof and a hatchback not a cool coupe or convertible.
The C40 is a “coupe” version of the XC40, and the Recharge model will only be sold online.
It has the same AWD powertrain as the XC40 Recharge and Polestar 2 with 2 electric motors making a total of 300kW (402hp) and 660Nm (487 lb-ft).
The 78kWh battery has a 420km (261mi) WLTP range, and can be recharge to 80% in 30 minutes using a fast charger.
Production begins summer 2021 in Ghent, Belgium.
