2021 Nissan Note vs 2012-2020: E13 v E12 differences & changes

The Nissan Note has completely redesigned with new powertrains and a more attractive design, but how different is it?

E12
The new Note looks less like a Honda Fit/Jazz competitor, even though it still is. The contrasting black roof helps reduce the visual mass on top.

The 2021 Note is actually smaller than the old model. See below.

With the large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument screen, and modern dashboard design (bye bye weird circular button design) the new cabin is much nicer place to be.

There's seating for five and plenty of headroom, but still nothing like the Fit's magic seats. The new Note is only available with a 1.2L hybrid now, but there will be an AWD all electric version soon.
