The Mercedes-AMG GLE doesn’t make any sense because it’s high riding, heavy and not practical, but the AMG version is the least hateable of the range.
Because you’re going to own something stupid, it should have an engine to match.
In Europe, the GLE63 is available in standard trim with 4L twin-turbo V8 with 420kW (563hp) and 750Nm (553 lb-ft), 21″ wheels, a 9-speed auto, and AWD. The 0-100km/h time is 4s, and the top speed is 250km/h (155mph).
There’s also the GLE63 S with the same engine, but 450kW (603hp) and 850Nm (627 lb-ft), 0-100km/h in 3.8s, and a top speed of 280km/h (174mph).
It also has 22″ wheels.
