The 2019 Prius facelift is a huge improvement, but it’s still pretty ugly, and that’s where the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid sedan steps in.
It has the same powertrain as the Prius: a hybrid system with 121hp (90kW) from a 1.8L I4 with electric motors and a battery pack.
While it doesn’t shout green or environmentally conscious in quite the same way, it’s actually a decent looking vehicle.
Mileage should be about the same, but the Prius will likely be a little better because it has a more aerodynamic body. The Corolla also misses out on an AWD option for now, as well as the Prius’ fancy tablet touchscreen infotainment system.
