The 2020 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman GTS 4.0 have a naturally aspirated 4L H6 from the GT4, although with slightly less power.
In the Cayman and Boxster GTS 4.0, the engine makes 294kW (394hp) and 419Nm (309 lb-ft). For the GT4 the engine is tuned to produce 309kW (414hp).
It does have more 25kW (33hp) more than the 2.5L turbo H4 in the regular Cayman/Boxster GTS, but 11Nm (8 lb-ft) less.
Because purity is the key here (and complaints about the lack of soul from the 718’s turbo H4 engines), the GTS 4.0 is only available with a 6-speed manual. No faster lap times PDK nonsense here!
There are 20″ wheels, LSD, torque vectoring, and a 20mm (0.8″) lower active suspension system included though.
