2020 Mini Cooper S E: Electric hatch has low range to match its price

The new Mini Electric hatch (sold as the Cooper S E outside of the UK) has a small 32.6kWh lithium-ion battery, which keeps the price down but limits range.

According to WLTP testing, the Mini Electric has a driving range of between 200km (124mi) and 232km (144mi).

The Electric’s motor has 135kW (184hp) and 270Nm (199 lb-ft) for a 0-100km/h time of 7.3s, and a top speed of 150km/h (93mph).

Standard features on the Electric includes 30mm (1.2″) lower suspension, a digital dashboard, navigation, LED headlamps and taillights, a closed grille, and embossed E logos.
