2020 Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag: Celebrates 70 years of sports cars

The 2020 Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag, due in 2019, celebrates 70 years of sports cars since the company launched the XK120 in 1948.


The F-Type Chequered Flag has special badges, and chequered flag branding on the headrests, tread plates and brushed aluminum center console finisher.

No changes have been made to the powertrain, but the Chequered Flag comes standard with the F-Type R’s suspension settings for improved low speed ride.

It also has gloss black 20″ wheels, and there are three exterior colors (caldera red, fuji white, or carpathian gray). Gray coupes have a a black contrast roof.

The cabin has Windsor leather, performance seats, black suede headlining, a steering wheel with a red center marker, and the Touch Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Three engines are available: 2L turbo I4 Ingenium gas engine with 221kW (296hp) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft), or the 3L supercharged V6 gas engine with either 250kW (335hp) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft), or 279kW (375hp) and 460Nm (339 lb-ft)

All have a standard 8-speed auto. The Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag is available to order now, and is priced from £62,335 (US$80,870) on the road.
