2020 Hyundai i20: Supermini goes from snoozy to electrified

The design language made its debut on the Sonata, which is not sold in Europe.

There are two tuned available: 74kW (99hp) or 88kW (118hp). Both are available with a 7-speed DCT or 6-speed manual.

The entry level engine is a much slower 1.2L I4 with 62kW (83hp) and a 5-speed manual.

Top versions of the i20 will come with a 10.25″ instrumentation screen and a 10.25″ infotainment touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, a 8-speaker audio system, and Bluelink connective services (real time traffic info, online voice recognition, find my car, etc).

Available safety features include intelligent speed limit assist, lane following assist, blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear cross traffic alert, semi automated parking assist, and lane keeping assist.
