2020 Ford S-Max: Minivan soldiers on with facelift, new ergonomic seats

The Ford S-Max is borrowed time, but like the Mondeo, Ford of Europe is perservering with its sporty minivan, giving the 5 or 7 seat car an updated look.


There’s a new bumper with a larger and restyled grille. There are different trims and finishes for the grille depending on the model.

A new two tone 15 spoke 18″ wheel is available on the Titanium, and this grade also features new 18 way electronically adjustable front seats, which have been approved by Germany’s Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR or Campaign for Healthier Backs).

FordPass Connect mobile Wi-Fi hotspot is also available for the first, and supports up to 10 devices connecting at once and Local Hazard information.
