The GR Sport has 11mm (0.4″) less ground clearance than the regular Yaris, and an 18mm (0.7″) smaller gap between the wheel and body. It also has Sachs Performance shocks, and a solid anti-roll bar.

The GR Sport has 17″ wheels with the same Bridgestone Potenza RE50 205/45R17 tires as the Yaris GRMN.

While the GRMN has a supercharged 1.8L 4-cylinder with 158kW (212hp) and 248Nm (183 lb-ft), the GR Sport has a 1.5L hybrid with 74kW (99hp).

Other standard features include a black roof, rear spoiler grille, and mirrors, piano black moldings, black interior, tinted glass, Ultrasuede seats, the same steering wheel as the 86/GT86, and white contrast stitching.
