2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition: Better handling, no turbo or extra power

2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition has improved ride and handling, a new exhaust, body kit, and a red and black interior, but no turbo or extra horsepower.


The TRD Special Edition is a new addition to the 2019 Toyota 86 range, and has new look 18″ wheels with 215/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, larger Brembo brakes (12.8″ 4-piston at the front, 12.4″ 2-piston at the rear), and Sachs dampers.

Only available with Raven paint, a TRD tricolor graphics pack, TRD exhaust with brushed stainless steel tips, and a body kit with new front bumper, side sills, rear bumper and diffuser, and rear spoiler.

The interior has Granlux faux suede for the instrument cluster stop, red contrast stitching and seat belts, a new black and red telescoping steering wheel, and red and black buckets seats with side bolsters.

There will only be 1,418 2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition models made, all with a starting MSRP of US$32,420.
