2019 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek adds offroader looks, no extra ability

2019 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is a US$995 upgrade package that with styling tweaks that “emphasize the rugged Pathfinder heritage.”

You know, back when the Pathfinder was a body-on-frame SUV, not a family hauling crossover — not that there’s anything wrong with that.

The Rock Creek package is available on the SV and SL grades, and on both FWD and AWD models.

It includes 18″ wheels, 255/60 all season tires, trailer tow hitch and harness, and splash guards. Black is used for the grille, roof rails, door handles, bumper accents, license plate finisher, badging, plastic overfenders and exterior mirrors.

The interior has a two tone treatment with high contrast stitching, and metal-like trim pieces.

Like all Pathfinder models, the Rock Creek upgrade has a 3.5L V6 with 284hp (212kW) and 259 lb-ft (351Nm), and a continuously variable (Xtronic) transmission.
