2019 Nissan Frontier (D23) goes into production in Argentina at Renault plant

Production of the D23 Nissan Frontier (sold as the NP300 Navara outside of the Americas) has begun at Renault’s plant in Cordoba, Argentina.

Frontiers made at Renault’s Santa Isabel plant will be sold in South America. The new generation Frontier is a key part of the company’s plan to be “one of the top three vehicle brands in Latin America”.

The Renault factory will also make one tonne pickup trucks for other brands – both the Mercedes-Benz X-Class and badge engineered Renault Alaskan use the Frontier/Navara’s platform.

The Frontier/Navara is also produced in Spain, China, Mexico and Thailand. The Frontier is available in 38 countries across Latin America.
