2019 Chevrolet Captiva: SUV reborn as a rebadged Baojun 530

The 2019 Chevrolet Captiva is completely unrelated to the first generation SUV, except for its name and Chevy badges. In fact it’s rebadged Baojun 530.

The original Captiva was an uninspiring SUV, a smaller version of which was sold as the Saturn Vue and Chevrolet Captiva Sport.

The new one is smaller again, and is a rebadged and lightly restyled version of the Baojun 530 SUV sold in China.

A developing market vehicle, the new Captiva is also currently available in Colombia, and is sold as a Wuling in Indonesia.

It is available as a 5 or 7 seat vehicle, with 1.5L and 1.8L I4 gas engines.
