2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera: DB11 with more power, aggression

The 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is a DB11, but it has a more powerful twin-turbo V12, and a much more aggressive body.

Behind the big new grille, and vented hood is a reworked 5.2L twin-turbo V12 with 533kW (715hp) at 6,500rpm and 900Nm (664 lb-ft) from 1,800 to 5,000rpm. It can do 0-100km/h in 3.4s, 0-100mph in 6.4s, and has a top speed of 340km/h (211mph).

The DBS Superleggera is RWD, and has a rear mounted 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with mechanical LSD and torque vectoring.

There are two wheel designs (both 21″) and fitted with Pirelli tires. The styling changes include a double diffuser, and combine to make 180kg (397 lb) of downforce.

Prices for the DBS Superleggera begin at £225,000 (US$297,000) in the UK, €274,995 (US$321,500) in Germany and US$304,995 in the USA. Deliveries begin during Q3 of 2018.
