2017 Subaru Impreza XV: New generation has tough looks, tall suspension

The 2017 Subaru Impreza XV takes the fifth generation Impreza hatch, and kits it out with 2-liter boxer 4-cylinder, taller suspension, and tougher looks.


Unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the all new 2017 Subaru Impreza XV has higher suspension and roof rails that increase overall height by 160mm (6.3 inches). Minimum ground clearance is now 220mm (8.7 inches).

The Euro Impreza XV has a standard direct injection 2-liter 4-cylinder with 115kW (154hp) and 196Nm (145 lb-ft), CVT, AWD, 18-inch wheels, and 225/55 tires.

The Impreza XV will go on sale in the US in the summer as the Crosstrek.
