2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility gains stealth light bar

Ford is now offering a new discreet flashing light bar for its 2017 Police Interceptor Utility, which makes the cop SUV even harder to spot on the road.

Instead of a highly visible light bar mounted on the roof, the new super low profile light bar is mounted on inside of the windshield in the headliner and in front of the car’s flop down visors.

Dressed up in black or some sort of almost-civilian styling clothing, the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility is hard enough to pick out on an Interstate. With this stealthy light bar, it’ll be even harder again.

The new stealth light bar is available now for 2017 model year Police Interceptor Utilities, and conforms to California’s Title 13 laws.
