3-liter I6 gas turbo engines will also be available in the W222 S-Class facelift range.

There will also be a plugin hybrid model with a 48V electrical system, 13.3kWh battery, and an EV range of 50km (31mi).

The adaptive cruise control and active steering systems will now take corners and junctions into account. And the infotainment and instrumentation displays have been upgraded with a seemless look.

The Multibeam LED headlamps now have Ultra Range main beams that go to the maximum legal light intensity. Also new is an Energizing comfort control system that merges together climate control, ambient lighting, massaging and fragrances to improve passenger wellness.

The W222 S-Class facelift goes on sale in Europe from July.
