The Volkswagen Tiguan Limited is a first generation (Type 5N) model sold in the USA as a more affordable entry point into the company’s crossover range.
Mark Gillies, a Volkswagen spokesman, told Cars Direct, the Tiguan Limited will be axed by the end of 2018.
The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Limited starts at US$23,150, while the current generation 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan is just a little more expensive at US$25,495.
Because of that, the older Tiguan has been outsold by the new model 1,355 to 8,579 in May 2018.
