Volkswagen ID Roomzz previews 2021 large electric SUV

The Volkswagen ID Roomzz concept previews a new 3 row electric SUV which will go on sale in China from 2021, and will be sold in other markets too.


Based on the MEB electric car platform, the ID Roomzz has an electric motor on each axle for a total of 225kW (302hp).

It has a 0-100km/h time of 6.6s, and an electronically limited top speed of 180km/h (112mph).

The 82kWh battery has a 450km (280mi) WLTP range, and with the 150kW DC fast charging system can be topped up to 80% charged in 30 minutes.

The concept has Level 4 self driving, seats that can rotate inwards by 25 degrees, clean air filters, and seat material made from AppleSkin.
