Production of the Mexico made Toyota Yaris (a Mazda 2 with a fugly nose) has ended, but there should be enough stock to last until fall 2020 if you’re keen.
With buyers preferring SUVs and larger cars to the Yaris, it’s no surprise the axe has fallen on the small sedan and hatch, even though the hatch was released in the US only last year.
Don’t get your hopes up that we’ll get the tasty Euro Yaris (or the mad Yaris GR) that was unveiled earlier this year.
“Right now, there are no plans to bring another Yaris nameplate to the U.S.,” Toyota told USA Today.
