Toyota eager to add TRD and AWD models across US range

Toyota is keen to give “more choices for the [US] consumer”, the brand’s manager in the States is keen to give every vehicle a TRD model.

Jack Hollis, general manager of the Toyota brand in the US, told AutoGuide he loves TRD and its motorsport teams.

“If we can bring [TRD] to every car and SUV and every truck, I think we should,” Hollis said. He then hinted at a Corolla TRD model, mentioning “intention and development”.

Hollis is also keen on putting AWD in more vehicles, although C-HR won’t be one of those cars. A Camry, though, might, especially now the Altima has the option of AWD.
