Nissan has confirmed, via Twitter, that it will be fitting a Cummins turbo-diesel engine to the Titan pickup “soon”.
It’s expected that the Nissan Titan will be extensively updated and facelifted in the near future and will most likely be sold as a 2016 model year truck.
This is the car that’s expected to house the new Cummins diesel power plant. Back in 2013 the company released some details about a potential 5-litre turbo-diesel V8. Power and torque outputs are said to be above 300hp (224kW) and 500 lb-ft (678Nm), respectively.
