Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae: The last non-electrified V12

The Aventador’s successor will have a V12 engine, but it will also have a hybrid powertrain. This is the last of its kind, for Lamborghini.

To celebrate the end of an era, Lamborghini has squeezed a few extra ponies from the 6.5L naturally aspirated V12. With 574kW (769hp) and 720Nm (531 lb-ft), the Ultimae has about 7kW (10hp) more than the SVJ.

It is also 25kg (55lb) lighter than the Aventador S, and just a fraction heavier than the SVJ.

Active rear wheel steering, AWD, carbon ceramic brakes, and a 7-speed single clutch ISR transmission are standard.

It has a 0-100km/h time of 2.8s, and a top speed of 356km/h (221mph).

Production will be limited to 350 coupes and 250 roadsters.
