Buick has wowed the 2016 Detroit Auto Show with the sexy, rear wheel drive Avista coupe that bears the brand’s new styling direction.
The Avista seats 2+2 within its sexy, glamorous shell. Under the hood it has a 3-liter twin-turbo V6 with 400hp driving the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic.
Interestingly the Avista sits on a 110.7 inch (2,811mm) wheelbase — the same length as the sixth generation Camaro that’s just hit the market.
The Avista sits on 20-inch alloy wheels with Magnetic Ride Control suspension. In the cabin there’s exposed aluminum, carbonfiber, and 3D printed parts.
After a string of good looking rear wheel drive sedan and coupe concepts, it’s about time that Buick built one. And the Avista is the best of a good lot.
