The Lamborghini Countach is back, but it’s only for a limited edition model based on the Aventador and with a hybrid V12.
The new 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI800-4 celebrates 50 years since the original concept debuted in Geneva, although the Countach didn’t go into production in 1974.
The new Countach LPI800-4 has an upgraded powertrain from the Sian. The 6.5L V12 hybrid has a supercapacitor instead of a battery for faster (and shorter) power boost, and makes a total of 602kW (807hp). The small electric motor makes just 25kW (33hp).
A 7-speed semi-automatic and AWD is standard.
Just 112 Countach LPI800-4 coupes will be made, and will cost over a million dollars each.
