Latin America and India will built and sell their own Citroen C3, which will be a SUV specifically designed for developing markets.
The new SUV is under 4m (157.5″) long, so it will be more favorably taxed in India.
Although it’s around the same size as the C3 sold in Europe, the developing market C3 has a completely different body and design.
The ride height is taller (180mm or 7.1″) to handle rough roads, the wheels and tires are smaller, and the interior has more basic seats and tougher plastics.
High end versions will come with a touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The Euro Citroen C3 will continue unchanged for now.
