2021 Mercedes-Benz EQB: An electric GLB with restyled front and rear

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQB is an electric GLB with styling that’s just enough to be different, but still very, very familiar.

The EQB has the EQ family grille and headlamps, and full width taillights. The battery pack means the third row isn’t as spacious as the one in the GLB.

In China the EQB has a AMG-Line model with AWD from two motors making a total of 215kW (288hp). Europe will have the EQB 350 4Matic with 200kW (268hp), and the entry level EQB 250 with 165kW (228hp).

WLTP driving range will be between 419km and 478km (260 to 297mi).

The EQB goes on sale in China and Europe in 2021, but won’t arrive in the US until 2022 as a 2023 model year car.
