2021 Ford Puma ST is a mean, green, hot SUV machine

The 2021 Ford Puma ST has the same platform and 1.5L turbo 3-cylinder engine as the Fiesta ST but in a popular and profitable SUV body.

Under the hood there’s 1.5L turbo I3 with 147kW (197hp) and 320Nm (236 lb-ft). The FWD hot city SUV is only available with FWD and a 6-speed manual.

It has a 0-100km/h time of 6.7s, and a top speed of 220km/h (137mph).

The Puma ST is fitted with 19-inch alloys with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and a unique twist-beam, anti-roll bar and damper configuration. There’s also a new air-intake and free-flowing exhaust.

Unique in its class, the Puma ST has the option of a mechanical Quaife LSD.

The brakes are larger (325mm front discs and 271mm rear discs), and there’s Torque Vectoring Control, faster steering, and four drive modes (Normal, Sport, Track, and Eco).

The cabin has Recaro seats, Miko Dinamica covered steering wheel, and a 12.3-inch instrumentation screen.

It is also available with an exclusive Mean Green paint option, and a premium B&O sound system.
