2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4: The 6-cylinder returns without turbos

The 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 means you can again buy a 6-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine in the midengine coupe.


The 4L H6 has 309kW (414hp), 420Nm (310 lb-ft) between 5,000 and 6,000rpm. It also has an 8,000rpm redline, and 6-speed manual. The GT4’s 0-100km/h time is 4.4s, and its top speed is 304km/h.

The GT4’s fixed rear wing and other changes improve downforce by 50%, and it comes standard with a torque vectoring mechanical rear differential lock.

An optional Clubsport package adds a steel roll bar at the rear, a fire extinguisher, and a six-point seatbelt for the driver.
